What is Cold Plasma?

Sequence 02-3.gif

Cold plasma is a state of matter that is similar to lightning or the sun's corona, but it is much cooler. It is created by passing an electric current through a gas, which forms a mixture of charged particles and reactive oxygen species (ROS).

How does it work?

Sequence 02-3.gif

Cold plasma therapy works by delivering ROS to the wound site. ROS are highly reactive molecules that can kill bacteria and other microorganisms. They also promote wound healing.

Cold plasma therapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses a stream of ionised gas to kill bacteria and promote wound healing.
